Immigration to America- Part 3

In previous posts I chronicled the Schlund families journey to a America and included passenger lists from the ship City of Glasgow. I have also found the family in the Pennsylvania, Philadelphia Passenger Lists Index Cards from 1800-1906.

  1. There are a couple of books recently written about Fidel Schlund or about the REvolution of 1848. Last year, a Deputy to the United Nation from the EU contacted me about Fidel Schlund. They were holding lectures that taught about his contribution. They would like to name a street after him in Immenstadt. Email me for more information emilyfunk9@gmail.com. Also, I visited his grave in New Jersey and the cemetery is in disrepair because it is private. No tax dollars are supporting its upkeep. The Woodland Cemetery is a 501C-3 and exists off donations.
